Prince William and Kate Middleton have been accused of making lives harder for the Windsor residents, as per new report.<\/p>\n
According to The Mirror, the Prince and Princess of Wales are making people in Windsor increasingly frustrated after their move to a new home, the Forest Lodge, situated within Windsor Great Park led to stricter security arrangements. <\/p>\n
Residents claimed areas they had used for years are now off limits since William and Kate relocated which has affected their daily walks, parking and access to community spaces. <\/p>\n
Many locals feel the changes were brought in suddenly which has left them with little choice but to adjust. <\/p>\n
“They say you can use other gates but you can’t because there’s nowhere to park,\u201d one resident told Mail on Sunday. <\/p>\n
Another said, “We’ve lived here for 20 years, it’s lovely in there. We appreciate they need privacy, but it’s a real shame. We are absolutely gutted.” <\/p>\n
Calling the security measures \u201cexcessive,\u201d one added, “It’s a blow, but they aren’t going to change their minds.”<\/p>\n
Previously, a home owner on the opposite side of Forest Lodge said that it was \u201cclearly a selfish act\u201d on William and Kate\u2019s part. <\/p>\n
\u201cAllowing a huge amount of public land to be closed, expecting other families to be evicted and increasing public costs so they have sufficient security living in an area which didn’t have police protection before, I doubt they gave a second thought to the implications for others,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
“Enclosing public land for the benefit of one couple is outrageous.
