Kate Winslet<\/a> explored intimacy as a teenager with an open mind.\n<\/p>\n On the Dec. 24 episode of the Team Deakins podcast<\/a>, the actress, 50, revealed that her \u201cfirst intimate experiences\u201d as a teen were “with girls.”\n<\/p>\n Reflecting on her role in Heavenly Creatures<\/a>, which followed the star and Melanie Lynskey<\/a> as two teens with an obsessive friendship, Winslet said the connections she had with women as a teenager helped inspire the \u201creally intense connection\u201d between her character and Lynskey’s.\n<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ll share something I\u2019ve never shared before.
