Recalling a defining moment from his time as an assistant director, Atlee said, \u201cWhen I was an assistant director, on my last day he called me and told me, \u2018You are working really well. If you have a story, come and tell me.\u2019 At that time, he had already completed 50 films. No big star would do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
The director went on to describe the relationship he shares with Vijay in personal terms, affectionately referring to him as \u201cmy brother, my Thalapathy,\u201d a line that drew loud cheers from the audience and quickly became one of the most quoted moments of the night.<\/p>\n
Expanding on their bond, Atlee used a life analogy that resonated strongly with fans in attendance. \u201cIn life, we meet three kinds of people, leaves who come and go, branches that break in a storm, and roots who never leave you.
