\n\tWestern Michigan resumes MAC play on Tuesday night as it heads to Toledo for its first conference road game of the season.
\n\tThe Broncos are coming off of a 94-57 victory over Defiance back on Dec. 22.
\n\tWMU set season highs in points (94), field goals (37), assists (20) and steals (13).
\n\tThe 57 points and 19 field goals allowed were season lows for the Bronco defense.
\n\tFour players scored in double-figures, led by Jalen Griffith<\/a> with 16.
\n\tJayden Brewer<\/a> was also in double-figures with 15 points, and is now eight points shy of 1,000 for his collegiate career.
\n\tToledo owns a 95-63 lead in the all-time series between the two programs and has won 14 consecutive meetings.
\n\tWestern Michigan’s most recent win in the series was a 61-56 overtime triumph at Savage Arena on Feb. 21, 2017.
\n\tTuesday marks the first of two scheduled regular season meetings, with the Rockets set to come to Kalamazoo on Feb. 11.

\nAfter stepping outside of conference play to face Defiance last Monday and its holiday break, Western Michigan returns to MAC play on Tuesday evening with its first conference road tilt of the campaign at Toledo. The Brown and Gold opened MAC play with a loss to Buffalo back on Dec. 20.<\/p>\n
\nThe Broncos are coming off of a 94-57 win over Defiance College back on Dec. 22. WMU set season highs in points (94), made field goals (37), assists (20) and steals (13), while yielding season lows in points (57) and made field goals (19). Four players were in double-figures for the Brown and Gold, led by Jalen Griffith’s<\/a> 16 points. Jayden Brewer<\/a> added 15 points, Brady Swartz<\/a> notched 11 and Michael Sulaka<\/a> netted a career-high 10 points for Western Michigan.<\/p>\n
\nAll 12 players who saw the floor for the Brown and Gold scored in the victory over Defiance, with seven different players netting at least eight points and four reaching double-figures. Junior Sileu<\/a> picked up his first collegiate points, going 3-for-3 from the field to collect six points. Michael Sulaka<\/a> notched a career-high 10 points in the victory, making him the 10th different Bronco to have a double-digit scoring game this season. Four different players have scored at least 20 points in a game this season for Western Michigan, and WMU has had five different leading scorers through its first 13 games. Leading the charge with eight double-digit scoring games apiece are Jayden Brewer<\/a> and Jalen Griffith<\/a>, with Griffith having led the team in scoring seven times.<\/p>\n
\nAfter tying its season high with 18 assists in the MAC Opener against Buffalo on Dec. 20, Western Michigan set a new season high with 20 assists in the victory over Defiance. Nine different Broncos registered an assist, with three handing out three or more, led by Jalen Griffith<\/a> with six.<\/p>\n
\nJalen Griffith<\/a> netted 16 points in the victory over Defiance to lead Western Michigan in scoring for the seventh time this season. The junior has been in double-figures eight times in 2025-26 and has recorded five or more assists in six contests, including a career-high 10 to record the first double-double of his collegiate career in the win at SIUE on Dec. 6. Griffith leads WMU in both categories, ranking ninth in the MAC in scoring (16.0 PPG) and fourth in assists (4.7).<\/p>\n
