The Adelaide Strikers end the year with a bang, cruising to a seven-wicket victory over the Brisbane Heat at Adelaide Oval.<\/p>\n
A solid team effort with the ball and in the field set the foundations for the win as they bowled the Heat out for 121.<\/p>\n
Chris Lynn dominated with the bat, smoking 79 off 41 deliveries to ease the Strikers home.<\/p>\n
Early breakthroughs from Liam Scott, Luke Wood and Jamie Overton left the Heat reeling at 3\/17, only getting worse as they fell to 5\/21.<\/p>\n
A spectacular run out from Chris Lynn epitomised the Strikers’ brilliant fielding performance. Overton led the bowling attack, ending his magnificent bowling spell with figures of 3\/19, while Scott and Hassan Ali picked up two each.<\/p>\n

With wickets consistently falling throughout the innings, the Heat set the Strikers a modest 122 runs to win.<\/p>\n
Lynn and Matt Short got the Strikers off to a solid start with the bat. Lynn brought up both his 4000th BBL run and 1000th run for the Adelaide Strikers early in the innings as he launched a barrage of sixes into the stands.<\/p>\n
Despite losing a few wickets, the Strikers looked in complete control throughout. Lynn finished unbeaten as a gorgeous Scott cover drive brought up the winning runs with 35 balls to spare.<\/p>\n
