<\/p>\n BOULDER, Colo.\u00a0\u2014 Arizona opened its first road trip of the season on Tuesday night, falling 75\u201356 to Colorado at the CU Events Center.<\/p>\n The Wildcats faced an early deficit after a slow start but showed resilience throughout the contest, outscoring the Buffaloes in the second half and continuing to battle through all four quarters.<\/p>\n Mickayla Perdue<\/a>\u00a0led Arizona with a game-high 22 points, connecting on five three-pointers.\u00a0Noelani Cornfield<\/a>\u00a0added 13 points to notch her\u00a0sixth straight game scoring in double figures, while\u00a0Tanyuel Welch<\/a>\u00a0finished with 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds, marking her\u00a0fourth consecutive double-figure scoring performance.<\/p>\n Colorado used a strong first quarter and consistent production in the paint to build separation, holding Arizona scoreless from the field for much of the opening frame. The Buffaloes carried a 32\u201318 advantage into halftime.<\/p>\n Arizona responded coming out of the break, posting its most efficient offensive stretch in the third quarter and continuing to pressure defensively.
