The summer transfer window saw 25 players move between Serie A and the Premier League, with 12 moving to England and 13 to Italy. Here is a reminder of who they all were.

Tijjani Reijnders was the biggest mover between Serie A and Premier League clubs over the summer transfer window. If all add-ons are included and all bonuses met, the Dutchman’s move from Milan to Manchester City could end up surpassing the €70m mark.

Among the notable movers from Serie A to the Premier League in the summer was Bologna’s Coppa Italia hero Dan Ndoye, who joined Nottingham Forest for a fee in the region of €40m. Milan sold centre-back Malick Thiaw to Newcastle United for a fee that was also reported to be worth €40m all-in.

Milan sold or loaned more players to the Premier League than any other Serie A club. Alex Jimenez was sent to AFC Bournemouth, while Samuel Chukwueze has found form with Fulham.

Of the players moving in the opposite direction, Napoli’s signing of Kevin De Bruyne, technically a free agent after his 11 years with Manchester City, was one of the most exciting pieces of business over the summer.

There was also a lot of excitement to see Jamie Vardy have a go in Serie A after he left Leicester City and ended up joining newly-promoted Cremonese on a free transfer.

Rasmus Hojlund’s move from Manchester United to Napoli has got off to a roaring success, and there have already been suggestions that his €50m buy-out clause could be somewhat of a bargain.

The most expensive player to move from the Premier League to Serie A over the summer was Christopher Nkunku, who joined Milan from Chelsea in a deal that could be worth up to €43m if all bonuses are met.

*There are some others who might have a claim to being included on this list, including Sassuolo’s Woyo Coulibaly, who had played in the Premier League last season, but was technically a Championship player when the Neroverdi signed him from Leicester City. The same is true for Sassuolo goalkeeper Arijanet Muric, who joined from relegated Ipswich Town.

The summer transfer window saw 25 players move between Serie A and the Premier League, with 12 moving…

[9
57730,119464,42659,33766,110990,21567,20904,4027,54320,119472,119469,119471,119473,444,119478,119488,61152,119486,62532,119470,85,46,2971,119481,119485,119463,119474,19683,119483,119466,119482,70348,41272,119480,172,119479,119465,2617,3157,119477,6662,119475,4030,13437,119487,2619,119468,60479,119467,25548,105,119476,42607,119484,100661,13732,20294
post-215449","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-sports","tag-afc-bournemouth","tag-alex-jimenez","tag-aston-villa","tag-atalanta","tag-bologna","tag-brighton","tag-burnley","tag-chelsea","tag-christopher-nkunku","tag-cremonese","tag-dan-ndoye","tag-diego-coppola","tag-douglas-luiz","tag-england","tag-evan-ferguson","tag-fiorentina","tag-fulham","tag-genoa","tag-giovanni-leoni","tag-hellas-verona","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-italy","tag-jackson-tchatchoua","tag-jaka-bijol","tag-jamie-vardy","tag-jeremy-sarmiento","tag-juventus","tag-kamaldeen-sulemana","tag-kevin-de-bruyne","tag-kostas-tsimikas","tag-lazio","tag-leeds","tag-leon-bailey","tag-liverpool","tag-loum-tchaouna","tag-malick-thiaw","tag-manchester-city","tag-manchester-united","tag-manuel-akanji","tag-milan","tag-napoli","tag-newcastle-united","tag-nottingham-forest","tag-parma","tag-premier-league","tag-rasmus-hojlund","tag-roma","tag-samuel-chukwueze","tag-serie-a","tag-sports","tag-tariq-lamptey","tag-tijjani-reijnders","tag-udinese","tag-verona","tag-west-ham","tag-wolves
["GET
