\n Claire has previously had a 30-year corporate career, but says she wanted to open the LYFE Power + Pilates Studio to create something that was “missing from the local community.”\n<\/p>\n
\n After leaving her job, she retrained as a qualified pilates and fitness instructor and set out to build a studio that she claims prioritises community, inclusivity and confidence over ‘aesthetics’.\n<\/p>\n

\n \u201cI realised there was a gap,\u201d she explained.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cSo many women wanted to move their bodies but didn\u2019t feel traditional gyms were for them. LYFE exists to change that.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cPilates really is for everyone. You don\u2019t need a fitness background, you don\u2019t need confidence walking into a gym, and you don\u2019t need to look a certain way.\n<\/p>\n

\n The new studio has been designed in collaboration with local creatives and graffiti artists, with merchandise produced by Swindon business The Little Grey Company.\n<\/p>\n
\n The new Cheney Manor studio will open to the public in January 2026, with a private ‘behind-the-scenes’ look taking place on January 2.\n<\/p>\n
