\n\tJasen Kaplan<\/a>, a contestant on the reality dating series \u201cFinding Prince Charming\u201d and a makeup artist for celebrities including Eva Longoria, Cyndi Lauper, Bethenny Frankel and Kelly Osbourne, has died, according to social media posts from friends and clients. He was 46.<\/p>\n

\n\tKaplan died on New Year\u2019s Eve in New York City. A cause of death has yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n

\n\tKaplan was one of 13 contestants on Logo\u2019s 2016 romance competition \u201cFinding Prince Charming,\u201d which was hosted by NSYNC member Lance Bass. Kaplan was eliminated in the second week of the series, a gay spin on \u201cThe Bachelor\u201d franchise that featured ceremonial black ties instead of roses.<\/p>\n

\n\tKaplan is also credited as a makeup artist on the 2005 series \u201cGastineau Girls,\u201d \u201cThe Last International Playboy\u201d and the 10th annual TV Land Awards. He was a hair stylist and makeup artist on the 2014 reality series \u201cThe Face.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFrankel wrote a long, heartfelt tribute to Kaplan<\/a> on Instagram, calling him a \u201cone-of-a-kind gem\u201d who \u201cshowed up with humor, heart, and a genuine interest in everyone around him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHe made people feel seen, celebrated, and better about themselves. \u2026 He was my makeup artist, but also my friend and a constant part of my team,\u201d Frankel wrote. \u201cHe always showed up and cheered me on \u2014 in life, work, and online. He\u2019s seen me in every form, from fixing broken zippers to making me feel like a supermodel. If you were around him, you were happier.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNo one is going to have better glam than I do in heaven,\u201d she concluded. \u201cRest in peace, and enjoy all the caviar and coconut cake.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOsborne, too, honored Kaplan on Instagram, writing alongside photos of him applying her makeup: \u201cI\u2019m devastated I love you so much \u2026 I hope you are at peace now. Life will never be the same without you.\u201d <\/p>\n
