Grok, the AI chatbot on the X social media platform, has issued answers recently that have startled and amused users, including insinuating that President Donald Trump is a pedophile and that Erika Kirk is actually Vice President JD Vance in drag.<\/p>\n
Elon Musk\u2019s chatbot is no stranger to issuing wildly inaccurate<\/a>, bizarre<\/a>, humorous<\/a>, and even offensive<\/a> responses<\/a>, including posting extremely graphic sexual fantasies<\/a> about former X CEO Linda Yaccarino, numerous<\/a> pro-Hitler rants<\/a>, expressing a willingness to commit mass genocide<\/a> to save its founder, and calling out<\/a> Musk as a \u201ctop misinformation spreader<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n But it\u2019s Grok that\u2019s being accused of spreading the misinformation with some of its latest posts.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Spencer Hakimian asked Grok to \u201cremove the pedophile from this picture,\u201d along with photos of Trump and Sean \u201cDiddy\u201d Combs.<\/p>\n In response, Grok shared the images but with Trump removed.<\/p>\n Combs was convicted of prostitution-related charges<\/a> last summer but has not been charged with any crimes involving pedophilia or other abuse of children. Trump has also similarly not been charged with any crimes involving pedophilia or other abuse of children, but critics frequently point to the president\u2019s years of friendship with deceased child sex predator Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> and he appeared<\/a> in some of the documents released as part of the Epstein files<\/a>.<\/p>\n Trump has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, but according to Grok, he is a pedophile.<\/p>\n Another startling Grok response came in response to a tweet that asked Grok \u201cdo these two look related?\u201d with photos of Vance and Kirk, the widow of Turning Point USA founder<\/a> Charlie Kirk, who was murdered last year.<\/p>\n Grok responded by claiming the photos were of the same person, referring to resurfaced photos of Vance from college in which he was wearing a blonde wig.<\/p>\n \u201cThey share striking facial similarities\u2014same eye shape, nose, and overall structure,\u201d wrote Grok. \u201cIt\u2019s actually JD Vance in both: a standard photo and one from his Yale days in drag with a blonde wig. Not related, but the same person!\u201d<\/p>\n Numerous commenters cracked jokes and a few offered information to correct Grok, eventually getting a revised response, although the original answer has not yet been deleted.<\/p>\n These latest Grok posts come just days after the AI bot was under fire for generating images that showed underage girls in \u201csexy underwear,\u201d which it acknowledged was depicting minors sexually and \u201cillegal under US law\u201d when prompted by an X user.<\/p>\n In response to a subsequent post by that same user, Grok posted an apology stating that it \u201cdeeply regret[ted]\u201d the incident, saying<\/a> that it \u201cviolated ethical standards and potentially US laws on CSAM [child sexual abuse material].\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a failure in safeguards, and I\u2019m sorry for any harm caused,\u201d Grok added. \u201cxAI is reviewing to prevent future issues.\u201d<\/p>\n The post Elon Musk\u2019s AI Grok Goes Rogue with Posts Suggesting Trump Is a Pedophile and Erika Kirk Is JD Vance in Drag<\/a> first appeared on Mediaite<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Screenshot via X.
