The first season, titled Flowers Over the Inferno, originally aired in Italy in 2023. It unfolds over six dramatic episodes as Teresa and her team delve into various harrowing crimes around town. <\/p>\n

“Straight-talking Commissioner Teresa Battaglia investigates a murder case with tendrils extending well into the past, while also dealing with personal challenges,” reads the description. <\/p>\n

The Teresa Battaglia Cases has now joined Channel 4<\/a>‘s Walter Presents collection – a catalogue of international shows selected by TV connoisseur Walter Iuzzolino. <\/p>\n

The second season, titled Sleeping Nymph, follows Teresa as she seeks justice for a recently deceased fellow officer. The six-episode season sees the police becoming the prey, with Teresa hell-bent on undercovering who’s responsible. <\/p>\n

“A young cop, Marta, is found dead, and she’s apparently shot herself. But Teresa believes that something’s wrong. She’s sure that Marta has been murdered with suicide as a set-up,” the description teases. <\/p>\n
