\n\tRAYE<\/a> has earned the first No. 1 of 2026 on the U.K.\u2019s Official Singles Chart<\/a> with \u201cWHERE IS MY HUSBAND!\u201d (Jan. 2). The song was first released in September and has waited 14 weeks to hit the top spot. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe London-based singer-songwriter benefits from a number of festive classics dropping from the Official Singles Chart, with data from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1 counting towards this week\u2019s chart update. Her song jumps 47 places to No. 1, but spent much of the final weeks of 2025 inside the top five.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWHERE IS MY MUSBAND!\u201d is RAYE\u2019s second U.K. chart-topper following the success of 2023\u2019s \u201cEscapism.\u201d which featured 070 Shake, and her 20th top 40 single overall across her decade-long career.<\/p>\n

\n\tTaylor Swift<\/a> is also among the artists to benefit from festive classics departing the chart as \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d rebounds to No. 2. Her album The Life of a Showgirl was recently named as the U.K.\u2019s biggest album in 2025 despite its October release date.<\/p>\n

\n\tDave<\/a> and Tems<\/a>\u2019 \u201cRaindance\u201d hits a brand new peak at No. 3 in its 10th week on the Official Singles Chart. The song appears on the former\u2019s third LP The Boy Who Played The Harp which hit the No. 1 spot back in October.<\/p>\n

\n\tOlivia Dean<\/a>\u2019s sensational breakout period stretches into 2026 as she claims four spots in the top 20 of the Official Singles Chart: \u201cSo Easy (To Fall In Love)\u201d hits a new peak at No. 4; Sam Fender<\/a> collaboration \u201cRein Me In\u201d is up to No. 5; former chart-topper \u201cMan I Need\u201d lands at No. 6; and \u201cA Couple Minutes\u201d closes at No. 20.<\/p>\n

\n\tA decade on from its release, Zara Larsson<\/a>\u2019s 2015 hit \u201cLush Life\u201d reaps the rewards of a viral dance trend to lift 41 spots to No. 9 this week. The track initially peaked at No. 3 upon its release.<\/p>\n

\n\tHaven\u2019s \u201cI Run\u201d is up to No. 10, despite growing controversy around its alleged use of artificial intelligence in the song\u2019s production. The song faced accusations<\/a> from Jorja Smith\u2019s label FAMM that her voice and likeness had been used to train the model that provided the song\u2019s original vocal take. It was subsequently replaced with a new part by Kaitlin Aragon, and the duo has denied any wrongdoing in relation to Smith\u2019s likeness.<\/p>\n
