Elton John<\/a> and his husband, David Furnish<\/a>, celebrated New Year\u2019s Eve with their two kids, Zachary and Elijah.<\/p>\n

Furnish, 63, shared a photo via Instagram on Friday<\/a>, January<\/a> 2, of himself, Elijah, 12, John, 78, and Zachary, 15, posing with Donatella Versace at a party in London.<\/p>\n

\u201cRinging in the New Year Donatella style. Thank you @donatella_versace for the spectacular dinner at @claridgeshotel. We love you. La Famiglia Forever!\u201d he wrote. \u201cAll the F-J\u2019s want to wish everyone a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!\u201d<\/p>\n

In the accompanying picture, Zachary and Elijah both wore black suits, with Elijah opting for a tie with his ensemble. Meanwhile, John sparkled in a black and white polka dot button-down shirt with an embellished black jacket and trousers, and Furnish stood out in a light suit jacket paired with a white button-down shirt and black pants.<\/p>\n

In the comments section of Furnish\u2019s post, fans marveled over how much his and John\u2019s sons have grown.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a gorgeous family<\/a>!! Your boys are all grown!! So handsome! Wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year<\/a>!!\u201d one Instagram user replied, while another added, \u201cDavid, how beautiful your family [is]. Boys [are] so big and handsome. Happy New Year<\/a> to you all.\u201d<\/p>\n

John and Furnish have been together since 1993 and married since December<\/a> 2014. The couple welcomed Zachary and Elijah via surrogacy in December 2010 and January 2013, respectively. <\/p>\n

Despite their family\u2019s fame, John and Furnish have been able to maintain privacy for Zachary and Elijah<\/a> over the years, with their sons making rare public appearances with their parents. Still, the music<\/a> superstar has been vocal about his love for his sons on many occasions.<\/p>\n

\u201cZachary and Elijah, you two are the greatest gifts<\/a> I have ever been given,\u201d John wrote in a March 2022 letter published by TIME<\/a>. \u201cYou have filled my heart with love and my life<\/a> with purpose and meaning in ways I didn\u2019t think were possible. You are my proudest achievements, and I love you<\/a> both so, so much. \u2026 Whoever you grow up to be, just be you\u2014fully and completely you.\u201d<\/p>\n

More recently, John explained his decision to retire from touring to spend more time with his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor me personally, I\u2019ve had an amazing life, great career,\u201d he told Andy Cohen<\/a> in November<\/a> 2024. \u201cIncredible achievements, music, blah, blah, blah, but I would say that our sons, and David, are the most important things to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201c[That\u2019s] why I came off the road, to be able to spend the latter part of my life being there for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

John has also been forthcoming about his sons\u2019 fears about his mortality, noting in his 2024 documentary, Elton John: Never Too Late<\/a>, that Zachary and Elijah \u201clove their daddy, so they want me to be around forever, [and] I would love to be around forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to see them have children and get married. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m going to be around for that,\u201d he acknowledged. \u201cSo that\u2019s why I want to use the best of my time while I\u2019m around. Time together is so wonderful and so precious.\u201d<\/p>\n
