The Stranger Things<\/a> series finale wrapped up pretty much all of the major loose ends of the series and even gave us a lengthy epilogue with updates on all of our favorite characters.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/p>\n However, there was one major couple fans didn\u2019t get an update on in the final hours of the series.<\/p>\n Noticeably, the series finale did not include Robin\u2019s girlfriend Vickie, played by Amybeth McNulty<\/a>. She was not seen on-screen or mentioned at all, leaving the status of her relationship with Robin unclear.<\/p>\n According to show creators Matt<\/a> and Ross Duffer<\/a>, this was intentional. They \u201cdid talk\u201d about where Vickie might fit into things, but decided to viewers decide.<\/p>\n \u201cWe do that flash-forward in Mike\u2019s story and we bring them up to a certain point, and then we want to leave it a little bit up to fans in terms of where these characters end up ultimately,\u201d Ross told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cDo Robin and Vickie stay together? Maybe, maybe not.\u201d<\/p>\n Matt had a more cynical outlook.<\/p>\n \u201cFrom my point of view and from everyone I knew in high school, what percentage of couples remain together after they leave for college? Extremely low,\u201d he says. \u201cMax and Lucas survive because their love is that deep, but very few others do.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBut,\u201d Matt added, \u201cyou never know.\u201d <\/p>\n The Duffer brothers also left the fate of Dustin and Suzie pretty ambiguous since Suzie\u2019s character doesn\u2019t appear at all in season 5. <\/p>\n Then there\u2019s the fate of Eleven, which seemed set in stone by around the halfway point of the episode, only to get a little bit of a twist at the end.
