Her amour fou \u2013 AKA \u201ctoxic co-dependency\u201d \u2013 with Blake Fielder-Civil (Jack O\u2019Connell) and interactions with her nan (Lesley Manville) and dad Mitch (Eddie Marsan), rather than her music, provide the tragic drama\u2019s central thrust.
