\n\t\u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d surges back to the Hot 100\u2019s summit from No. 28 as holiday hits recede from the chart\u2019s upper reaches, a week after they claimed a weekly-best top 24<\/a> positions. The lead single from Swift\u2019s album The Life of a Showgirl reigned in its first eight weeks on the ranking, dating to its mid-October debut<\/a>. \u201cAnti-Hero\u201d claimed its eight-week No. 1 run upon its start in November 2022.<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere, Ella Langley<\/a> lands her first Hot 100 top 10, as \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d vaults 48-5. It leads the Hot Country Songs<\/a> chart for a sixth week.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d drew 18.3 million official streams (up 9% week-over-week) and 60.7 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 12%) and sold 30,000 (up 779%) in the United States Dec. 26-Jan. 1.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe single adds an eighth week at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs<\/a> chart; falls to No. 3 from its No. 2 high on Radio Songs<\/a>; and lifts 5-4 on Digital Song Sales<\/a> after six weeks at No. 1. It\u2019s the highest-selling song of the week overall, with 26,000 in physical singles, via vinyl versions that shipped during the tracking week, and 4,000 downloads.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith the latest Hot 100 dated Jan. 10, 2026, Swift has now placed at No. 1 in 11 distinct years (per chart dates), encompassing her 13 leaders: 2012, 2014-15, 2017, 2020-24 and, thanks to \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d 2025-26.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong the six acts that have each spent time atop the Hot 100 in 10 or more individual years, Swift now solely boasts the second-best total:<\/p>\n

22 years: Mariah Carey (1990-2000, 2005-06, 2008, 2019-26; she held the record at 14 years prior to her latest eight years at No. 1 with \u201cAll I Want for Christmas Is You\u201d)<\/p>\n

11 years: Taylor Swift (2012, 2014-15, 2017, 2020-26)<\/p>\n

10 years: Paul McCartney\/Wings (1971, 1973-76, 1978, 1980, 1982-84; additionally, The Beatles, with him as a member, led in seven years: 1964-70)<\/p>\n

\n\tElla Langley achieves her first Hot 100 top 10, as \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d soars 48-5 (topping its prior No. 11 peak before the holidays). It totaled 15.7 million streams (up 5%), 25 million in radio reach (up 2%) and sold 5,000 (up 1%) in the tracking week.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe trad-country single rebounds 4-1 for a second week atop Digital Song Sales, as it leads the multimetric Hot Country Songs chart for a sixth week, dating to its first<\/a> in early December.<\/p>\n

\n\tMeanwhile, Langley and Beyonc\u00e9 are the lone stars with Hot 100 top 10s that name-check Texas in song titles. Prior to Langley (who\u2019s from Alabama), Houston\u2019s own Beyonc\u00e9 logged two weeks<\/a> at No. 1 in 2024 with \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em.\u201d (One other such song has hit the top 40: Waylon Jennings\u2019 classic \u201cLuckenbach, Texas [Back to the Basics of Love]\u201d reached No. 25 in 1977. Plus, Mitch Miller\u2019s recording of the traditional American folk song \u201cThe Yellow Rose of Texas\u201d was one of the biggest hits of 1955, three years before the Hot 100\u2019s inception.)<\/p>\n

\tRest of Top 10: \u2018Golden\u2019 & More<\/p>\n

\n\tHUNTR\/X\u2019s \u201cGolden,\u201d from Netflix\u2019s KPop Demon Hunters, flies 25-2 on the Hot 100, after eight weeks at No. 1 beginning in August.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlex Warren\u2019s \u201cOrdinary,\u201d which ruled the Hot 100 for 10 weeks starting in May, returns at No. 3, tying for the highest reentry<\/a> in the chart\u2019s archives (reflecting rules<\/a> related, in part, to the fall of holiday songs). It adds a 24th week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (67.8 million, up 24%).<\/p>\n

\n\tOlivia Dean\u2019s \u201cMan I Need\u201d blasts back, from No. 36, to its No. 4 Hot 100 high.<\/p>\n

\n\tKehlani\u2019s \u201cFolded\u201d rises to a new No. 6 Hot 100 best, from No. 51. It tops the multimetric Hot R&B\/Hip-Hop Songs<\/a> and Hot R&B Songs<\/a> charts for a fourth week each.<\/p>\n

\n\tSombr\u2019s \u201cBack to Friends\u201d bounds 52-7 for a new Hot 100 high, as it adds a 13th week at No. 1 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tSwift\u2019s \u201cOpalite\u201d revisits the Hot 100\u2019s top 10 (54-8), after hitting No. 2, and two more songs reenter the chart in the tier: Leon Thomas\u2019 \u201cMutt,\u201d at No. 9 after reaching No. 6, and Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cDaisies,\u201d at No. 10 after peaking at No. 2.<\/p>\n
