\n\tThe 56-year-old Foo Fighters musician shocked fans in September 2024 when he revealed he had fathered a child<\/a> outside of his marriage. Naturally, that created a ripple effect in his 21-year marriage to Jordyn Blum, with whom he has three children: Violet, 19, Harper, 16, and Ophelia, 11.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere were rumors that Grohl had hired a divorce attorney and that Blum was seeking comfort with her A-list bestie<\/a>, Kate Hudson. Now, there seems to be a positive development after their marriage hit a rocky patch \u2014 and the news might surprise some fans.<\/p>\n

\n\tStill, the news about Grohl\u2019s betrayal<\/a> was devastating to Blum, whom the insider described as \u201cinitially distraught.\u201d Grohl \u201cfelt terrible and begged her to forgive him,\u201d and \u201cshe [felt] it was all worth fighting for.\u201d The duo has been spotted out in public together as recently as Sept. 5, so the news that they have healed their marriage makes sense.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrohl revealed the arrival of his fourth daughter on Sept. 10, 2024, on his Instagram page. \u201cI\u2019ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,\u201d he wrote<\/a>. \u201cI plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We\u2019re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe New York Post<\/a> identified Grohl\u2019s mistress as Jennifer Young, who was photographed in a February article. The baby\u2019s name has not been revealed publicly. \u201cProtecting her identity is really important because there\u2019s some really angry fans,\u201d Young said.<\/p>\n

\n\tGrohl seems to understand the gravity of his choices. \u201cHe knows he messed up,\u201d an insider told People last year. \u201cIt\u2019s one of those situations where you don\u2019t realize what you have until you\u2019re about to lose it. He doesn\u2019t want to lose his family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tGrohl is fortunate that his wife found a way forward in their marriage after his act of betrayal. He gets a second chance to make it right with Blum.<\/p>\n
