Bruno Mars<\/a> has revealed that he has finished making his long-awaited next solo studio album.<\/p>\n

The US singer-songwriter and producer released his third and most recent record, the multi-Grammy<\/a>-winning \u201924K Magic\u2019<\/a>, a decade ago in 2016. He later joined forces with Anderson .Paak<\/a> to form the duo Silk Sonic<\/a>, who released their LP \u2018An Evening With Silk Sonic\u2019<\/a> in 2021.<\/p>\n

Mars has since teamed up with Lady Gaga on the hit ballad \u2018Die With A Smile\u2019<\/a>, worked with BLACKPINK\u2019s Ros\u00e9 on the huge joint track \u2018APT.\u2019<\/a>, and featured on Sexyy Red\u2019s single \u2018Fat Juicy & Wet\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last night (Monday January 5), Mars welcomed in the new year by sharing a brief yet exciting update about his next full-length solo project.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy album is done,\u201d he wrote on X\/Twitter, where he has over 36million followers. Many of his fans shared their excitement over the news in the replies section, with one writing: \u201cWe\u2019ve been waiting for years man. Better be worth it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another said: \u201cLet\u2019s fricken goooo. Missed you.\u201d Someone else posted: \u201cKing is back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mars has not shared any more information about his forthcoming new album, but the update suggests that it will arrive at some point in 2026.<\/p>\n

In a four-star review of \u201924K Magic\u2019<\/a>, NME described the LP as \u201chalf an hour of party tunes that sound like the best bits of \u201990s R&B\u201d. It added:\u00a0\u201cFew albums designed to sound like a party actually play like one, but Bruno Mars has pulled it off with style.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ros\u00e9 and Mars\u2019 \u2018APT.\u2019 was recently named one of TikTok\u2019s top 20 global songs of 2025<\/a>. The track previously landed at Number 14 on NME\u2018s 50 best songs of 2024 list<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere, Mars joined Eddie Vedder,\u00a0Slash,\u00a0Yungblud, Anthony Kiedis and more to cover some rock classics at a lavish corporate Christmas party in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In other news, the singer recently revealed that he was close to scrapping his hit\u00a0Lady Gaga\u00a0collab \u2018Die With A Smile\u2019<\/a>, but changed his mind after learning that she was working on\u00a0Joker: Folie \u00e0 Deux<\/a>.<\/p>\n
