The cast includes Jackman, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/jodie-comer\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jodie-comer_1\" data-tag=\"jodie-comer\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jodie Comer<\/a>, Bill Skarsg\u00e5rd, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/murray-bartlett\/\" id=\"auto-tag_murray-bartlett_1\" data-tag=\"murray-bartlett\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Murray Bartlett<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/noah-jupe\/\" id=\"auto-tag_noah-jupe_1\" data-tag=\"noah-jupe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Noah Jupe<\/a> and Elijah Ungvary. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Death of Robin Hood depicts the titular character (Jackman) as having a past marred by crime and murder. Robin Hood gets a chance for redemption when a mysterious woman (Comer) helps him survive an injury from a dangerous battle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cI owe you an apology,\u201d Comer tells Jackman in the trailer. \u201cYou begged for me to let you die.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLater in the footage, Jackman confesses, \u201cI\u2019ve killed so many, I could not give you a count. It\u2019s a curse.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSarnoski, who is known for helming Pig and A Quiet Place: Day One, wrote and directed the project. Jackman, Alexander Black, Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett serve as producers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tJackman can currently be seen opposite Kate Hudson in the Focus Features film Song Sung Blue. He also stars in Amazon MGM Studios\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/the-sheep-detectives-trailer-hugh-jackman-amazon-1236454184\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Sheep Detectives<\/a>, hitting theaters in May. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cHe was this murderous outlaw who did a lot of terrible things and was kind of monstrous,\u201d Sarnoski recently told <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/hugh-jackman-death-robin-hood-first-look-exclusive-11857327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> about his take on Robin Hood. \u201cBut he\u2019s lived long enough to see this folklore get created about him.
