\n\tEXCLUSIVE: U.S. production companies Horizon Line Entertainment and March On Productions are partnering to finance and produce a slate of eight features through 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\n\tThe films will focus on \u201cthrillers, women in peril, and event themes with an emphasis on female directors, writers and stars\u201d.<\/p>\n
\n\tAccording to the partners, the slate includes the recently wrapped Greatest Actress in the World, starring Mena Suvari (American Beauty) and C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders), and directed by Lara Daans. <\/p>\n
\n\tScheduled to film from this month will be Silent Night Fall, which has Stana Katic (Castle), Elisha Cuthbert (24) and Talia Asseraf (Off The Grid) attached, with Danny Friedman directing.<\/p>\n
\n\tOn the slate and scheduled for a February shoot is Key To Freedom from writer-director Damian Lee with an attached cast of Denise\u00a0Richards (The World Is Not Enough), C. Thomas Howell, Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy) and Patrick Muldoon (Marlowe). <\/p>\n
\n\tAlso in the works are projects No Free Lunch, written by Jacques Frederick and Jeff Kazanian;\u00a0Satisfaction, written by Dana Fradkin and Kate Cassidy;\u00a0The Trout Fisher, written by Jay Brock;\u00a0Black Friday, written by B Harrison Smith;\u00a0and Cat On Hot Tin Roof, adapted by Lara Laskin.<\/p>\n
\n\tThe films will be produced by Damian Lee and Bennet De Brabandere and executive-produced by\u00a0Rich\u00a0Salvatore. Quiver Distribution will handle domestic sales. Red Sea Media will be handling foreign sales.<\/p>\n
March On Productions is led by Rich\u00a0Salvatore, the veteran independent producer of more than 80 features including The Comeback Trail and The Big Wedding. Horizon Line principals are Damian Lee and Bennet De Brabandere, whose features as producer, writer or director include Ski School, National Lampoon\u2019s Last Resort, A Dark Truth, Hearts of War and A Fighting Man.<\/p>\n
Shooting on the slate will take place in Hamilton, Ontario, with local partner Russ De Jong\u2019s North Film Company.
