Capital City Kitchen has officially opened at the City Hall cafeteria, offering homemade meals, local ingredients and a welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n
\u201cCapital City Kitchen is a new meeting place for our employees, our\u00a0neighbours and the thousands of people who work and visit downtown every day,\u201d said Mayor Chad Bachynski. \u201cThanks to Tim and Shane, this corner of City Hall is being brought back to life\u00a0with the kind of heart, hospitality and homegrown\u00a0flavour\u00a0that Regina is known for.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Capital City Kitchen is operated by the teams behind Dad\u2019s Diner and Hillside Smoke \u2019N Que. The new cafeteria will feature daily hot specials, fresh-made breakfast, grab-and-go items and a rotating menu inspired by Saskatchewan flavours.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want Capital City Kitchen to feel like a place where everyone is welcome,\u201d said co-owner Tim Philp. \u201cGood food brings people together and we\u2019re excited to serve the downtown community.\u201d<\/p>\n
Customers can expect hearty comfort food, lighter options and new dishes popping up regularly based on customer feedback. \u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is more than just a cafeteria \u2013 it\u2019s a community space,\u201d said co-owner Shane Folk. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to share food that\u2019s local, simple and made with care.\u201d<\/p>\n
Capital City Kitchen is located on the main floor of Regina City Hall and is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n
