{"id":226136,"date":"2026-01-07T22:27:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:27:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/226136\/"},"modified":"2026-01-07T22:27:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-07T22:27:17","slug":"chaka-khan-amy-allen-to-be-honored-at-resonator-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/226136\/","title":{"rendered":"Chaka Khan, Amy Allen to Be Honored at Resonator Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/chaka-khan\/\" id=\"auto-tag_chaka-khan_1\" data-tag=\"chaka-khan\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Chaka Khan<\/a> is one of the honorees at this year\u2019s Resonator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/awards\/\" id=\"auto-tag_awards_1\" data-tag=\"awards\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Awards<\/a>, with a pool of presenters including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/olivia-rodrigo\/\" id=\"auto-tag_olivia-rodrigo_1\" data-tag=\"olivia-rodrigo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Olivia Rodrigo<\/a>, Laufey, Anderson .Paak and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/addison-rae\/\" id=\"auto-tag_addison-rae_1\" data-tag=\"addison-rae\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Addison Rae<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHeld on Jan. 27 just ahead of the 2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/grammys\/\" id=\"auto-tag_grammys_1\" data-tag=\"grammys\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Grammys<\/a>, the Resonator Awards and Emily Lazar\u2019s We Are Moving The Needle will honor musical artists, producers, engineers, songwriters and industry leaders whose craft shapes the sound and culture of our time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tKhan will be recognized at the event alongside St. Vincent, Haim and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/amy-allen\/\" id=\"auto-tag_amy-allen_1\" data-tag=\"amy-allen\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Amy Allen<\/a>, among others. Rostam, Jason Isbell, Sia and Aaron Dessner additionally join the list of presenters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Resonator Awards are presented by We Are Moving The Needle, Lazar\u2019s non-profit that is \u201cdedicated to increasing the representation of women and non-binary individuals through scholarships, grants, mentorships, and community initiatives, as well as shifting industry culture through research and advocacy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLazar is a nine-time Grammy-nominated mastering engineer, and her 2019 win for best engineered album, non-classical, marked the first time a female mastering engineer won the category. She has worked with countless artists, including Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton, David Bowie, Barbra Streisand, Paul McCartney and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPrevious Resonator Awards honorees include Alanis Morissette, Corinne Bailey Rae, Caroline Polachek, Catherine Marks, Laura Sisk. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe 2026 Grammys will take place on Feb. 1.
