Singer Spencer Charnas confirmed the news to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.loudersound.com\/news\/ice-nine-kills-finish-writing-film-slashin-of-the-christ-2025\">Metal Hammer<\/a>, while also revealing that the band are already talking to film studios and directors.<\/p>\n<p>Charnas shared the following insight into the movie:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Like everything we do, there&#8217;s horror, there&#8217;s violence, but there&#8217;s a wink to the camera. We&#8217;re not taking ourselves too seriously, and I think the world needs a movie like this.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He then added the following when asked if Christians will take offense to the film:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think that it might be like &#8216;The Exorcist,&#8217; which was touted by the Catholic Church because it showed on-screen what they&#8217;ve been talking about.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He also confirmed that he is hoping to recruit some familiar faces for the project;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I certainly hope so.
