Israel donated several ambulances to Druze<\/a> communities in southern Syria as part of a humanitarian initiative, Israeli Druze MK (New Hope-United Right) Akram Hasson<\/a> announced last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, army leadership informed me that the fully equipped ambulances have arrived in the village of Hader<\/a> and five additional Druze villages in southern Syria,\u201d Hasson said.<\/p>\n

He thanked Safwan al-Marih, whom he said was responsible for preparing the ambulances, and credited him with carrying out work \u201cin the service of our people in Syria.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hasson also said he was scheduled to hold a meeting later that day, with IDF approval, regarding an additional humanitarian donation. According to his statement, the proposed donation totals $3 million and would be used to establish a hospital intended to serve residents of southern Syria<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will continue humanitarian work to serve you everywhere,\u201d Hasson stated.<\/p>\n

He also thanked those involved in the effort in Mount Hermon and the village of Hader, adding, \u201call thanks and appreciation to you, you did not fall short, and thank you for your efforts.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hasson said that more than a month ago, he announced a special meeting with the director general of Magen David Adom, during which a request was made to donate 15 ambulances to Druze villages in Syria at a cost of $1.5 million.<\/p>\n

The former mayor of Carmel city, Hasson, previously spoke with a US delegation, warning in October 2025 that the \u201cterrorist Jolani (Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa) regime\u201d had been behind the war crimes in southern Syria.<\/p>\n

Hasson, who was a member of the Kulanu at the time, informed the Knesset as early as 2016 about the crimes committed by the Fateh al-Sham Front.<\/p>\n

\u201cAl-Nusra Front is attacking the Druze town of Hader under the cover and protection of (the then) Defense Minister Liberman. We shall not rest until\u2026 Liberman ceases his support for al-Nusra against the Druze,\u201d Hasson wrote on Facebook at the time.<\/p>\n
