The US singer-songwriter and producer released his third and most recent record, the multi-Grammy<\/a>-winning\u00a0\u201924K Magic\u2019<\/a>, a decade ago in 2016. He later joined forces with\u00a0Anderson .Paak<\/a>\u00a0to form the duo\u00a0Silk Sonic<\/a>, who released their LP\u00a0\u2018An Evening With Silk Sonic\u2019<\/a>\u00a0in 2021.<\/p>\n

Mars has since\u00a0teamed up with Lady Gaga on the hit ballad \u2018Die With A Smile\u2019<\/a>, worked with\u00a0BLACKPINK\u2019s Ros\u00e9 on the huge joint track \u2018APT.\u2019<\/a>, and\u00a0featured on Sexyy Red\u2019s single \u2018Fat Juicy & Wet\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Monday (January 5), he announced that his long-awaited new album was \u201cfinished\u201d<\/a>, and now he\u2019s shared further details on its upcoming release.<\/p>\n

Titled \u2018The Romantic\u2019, the record will be released on February 27, with a first single coming on Friday (January 9).<\/p>\n

Alongside the announcement, Mars shared the album cover, which features a black and white illustration of him. Check it out below.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0a four-star review of \u201924K Magic\u2019<\/a>,\u00a0NME\u00a0described the LP as \u201chalf an hour of party tunes that sound like the best bits of \u201990s R&B\u201d. It added:\u00a0\u201cFew albums designed to sound like a party actually play like one, but Bruno Mars has pulled it off with style.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ros\u00e9 and Mars\u2019\u00a0\u2018APT.\u2019 was recently named one of TikTok\u2019s top 20 global songs of 2025<\/a>. The track previously landed at Number 14 on\u00a0NME\u2018s 50 best songs of 2024 list<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere,\u00a0Mars joined Eddie Vedder,\u00a0Slash,\u00a0Yungblud, Anthony Kiedis and more to cover some rock classics at a lavish corporate Christmas party in New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n
