Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> just revealed that she recently had to say goodbye to her beloved dog Princess Pippi Longstocking, whom she adopted in 2017.<\/p>\n

The Die My Love actress opened up about the situation after a screening of the upcoming film on Wednesday (Jan. 7) at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. During a Q&A session, Lawrence explained that the Chihuahua went to live with her parents sometime after she welcomed her first child.<\/p>\n

“She’s alive, she’s with my parents,” Lawrence shared during the event, according to E! News<\/a>. “She did not like New York. I lived on 1st and 67th just to be near the park for her.”<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, Lawrence said that dogs<\/a> became “so scary<\/a>” to her after having children, revealing that her son<\/a> was once bit by a dog.<\/p>\n

“After I had a kid, dogs became so scary,” she said. “It’s almost like I don’t recognize dogs right now. I just see them as a threat. One of them bit my son and that just made me want to obliterate every dog ever.”<\/p>\n

She continued, “I’m just like, ‘I’m gonna take out you and your f–king family<\/a>. You and your friends. I’m gonna go to China and take care of your friends over there. Anyone who looks like you is dead.”<\/p>\n

While Pippi is now living a happy life<\/a> with Lawrence’s parents, she says that she still does allow some animals in her home, notably her pet cat, Fred.<\/p>\n

She explained that she loves cats’ sassy behavior, referencing the moments that Fred comes into a room and “makes it look like a coincidence” that they happen to be in the same house.<\/p>\n

“I have a cat and I feel like they’re so misunderstood. They are a–holes and people who don’t like that about cats are getting that that is what is so funny,” Lawrence shared.<\/p>\n
