“We were thoroughly impressed with AMT last year,” says Brandon Valentine, executive director and founder of the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame, in an email. “While the Hershey Theatre is closer to our physical location, portions of their facility that are crucial to our event are still under construction.”<\/p>\n
Ahead of the show, fans will vote on their favorite acts for each category from now through Jan. 19. Fans can vote by visiting CPMA’s website<\/a> and clicking on each category heading, which are underlined. Voting does not require signup.<\/p>\n Several bands and musicians based in or from Lancaster County received nominations, including:<\/p>\n \u2014 Hunter Root, nominated for Album of the Year with his release, “Crooked Home,” Song of the Year with “A Pot Song” and Best Songwriter.<\/p>\n \u2014 Nail Bite, nominated for EP of the Year with its release, “Anomaly,” and Best Metal Act.<\/p>\n \u2014 SWAMPRAT & Thunda Khatt, nominated for EP of the Year with their release, “Thunda Breathing (RAT PACK VOL. 1)” and Song of the Year for their song, “BliSS,” featuring local artist PINK i.<\/p>\n \u2014 Samaritan Snare, nominated for EP of the Year with its release, “Living Statue,” and Best Hard Rock Act.<\/p>\n \u2014 Jac Conner & Lu, nominated for Song of the Year for “Ember,” and Best Folk Act.<\/p>\n \u2014 Conrad Fisher, nominated for Best Alt Country Act and Best Songwriter.<\/p>\n \u2014 Zoey Noble, nominated for Best Solo Artist – Female and Best New Artist\/Band for her role in Zoey & the Iconic.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
