The Golden Bears notched a 196.350 team score at the nationally televised podium meet, improving 0.350 from their runner-up finish at the Best of the West Quad one week prior.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe ACC&#8217;s Gymnast of the Week, <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/annalise-newman-achee\/26427\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26427\" target=\"_blank\">Annalise Newman-Achee<\/a>, was awarded bronze in the all-around, which was her second-straight podium finish.<\/p>\n<p>The Bears got off to a hot start on uneven bars, with <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/mya-wiley\/26431\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26431\" target=\"_blank\">Mya Wiley<\/a> setting a new personal-best 9.875 and Newman-Achee matching Wiley&#8217;s score right after her. <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/casey-brown\/26422\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26422\" target=\"_blank\">Casey Brown<\/a> performed a 9.925 from the fifth slot &#8211; good for a share of second place in the event. ACC Newcomer of the Week <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/tonya-paulsson\/27271\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"27271\" target=\"_blank\">Tonya Paulsson<\/a> improved her bars score from her debut last week to a 9.950 tonight, earning her the event title at the meet. Cal posted its highest team event score of the season with a 49.425 to lead the meet at the end of the first rotation.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nCal carried its momentum into the second rotation, this time seeing <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/miki-aderinto\/26421\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26421\" target=\"_blank\">Miki Aderinto<\/a> match her career high on balance beam with a 9.825. <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/abbey-scanlon\/26428\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26428\" target=\"_blank\">Abbey Scanlon<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/sarah-lee\/27270\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"27270\" target=\"_blank\">Sarah Lee<\/a> each received a 9.800 to lift the Bears to a 48.850 team score, good enough to hold onto the first place spot at the end of the rotation.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/cj-keuneke\/26423\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26423\" target=\"_blank\">CJ Keuneke<\/a> performed a 9.825 floor exercise routine from the second spot in the Bears&#8217; lineup. The back end of the lineup delivered, with Paulsson scoring a personal-best and a share of\u00a0the event win with a 9.875 and anchor <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/kyen-mayhew\/26425\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26425\" target=\"_blank\">Kyen Mayhew<\/a> notching a 9.850, good for a share of bronze in the event. The team compiled a 49.075 score.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nWiley put up a 9.800 on vault before <a href=\"https:\/\/calbears.com\/sports\/womens-gymnastics\/roster\/jayden-silvers\/26429\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"26429\" target=\"_blank\">Jayden Silvers<\/a> was awarded a 9.825 for her routine. Mayhew scored the highest in the rotation from the anchor spot with a 9.850, good for a share of second-place on the event.
