COLLEGE PARK, Md. \u2013 The Maryland wrestling team (4-3, 0-2 B1G) fell to No. 18 Wisconsin (9-1, 1-1 B1G), 28-13, on Sunday afternoon, suffering its second Big Ten loss of the season.<\/p>\n
Despite the setback, the Terrapins earned two ranked victories at 197 and 149 pounds. No. 15 Branson John<\/a> opened the dual with an 8-4 decision over No. 28 Wyatt Ingham at 197. Midyear transfer No. 14 Carter Young<\/a> continued his strong start in a Maryland singlet, defeating No. 17 Joseph Zargo in a marquee matchup at 149.<\/p>\n True freshman Ryan Kennedy<\/a> and Sepanta Ahanj-Elias<\/a> also recorded their first collegiate dual wins.
