Ariana Grande wants to join Jennifer Lawrence<\/a> and Emma Stone for their upcoming Miss Piggy movie. The Hunger Games actress has also expressed that she \u201cwould love” for the Everyday hitmaker to be part of the project.<\/p>\n

Miss Piggy is a puppet character who first appeared on Jim Henson\u2019s The Muppet Show in the 1970s. According to Variety, Disney is currently working on a film about the diva puppet.<\/p>\n

Ariana Grande Wants To Be Part of the Miss Piggy Movie<\/p>\n

Kevin Frazier recently told Ariana Grande that there was a \u201crumour” about her potential involvement in the upcoming Miss Piggy movie. \u201cOh, really? I mean, I\u2019m open, hello,” Grande told Frazier on the Golden Globes Carpet pre-show ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes on January 11.<\/p>\n

Grande also said she was only \u201ckidding”. She added, \u201cI\u2019m a big fan of The Muppets.” Moments later, Frazier spoke to Jennifer Lawrence. The No Hard Feelings actress asked Frazier if Grande seemed \u201cexcited” about contributing to the movie.<\/p>\n

\u201cI guess it was one of those Twitter rumours. They\u2019re good at those,” Lawrence said. However, she also added, \u201cI mean, if she wants to be in the movie, I would love for her to be in the movie.” Lawrence then looked at the camera and requested Grande to join the film\u2019s cast. \u201cPlease be in Miss Piggy,” she said.<\/p>\n

Jennifer Lawrence first spoke about the movie in public in November last year on Las Culturistas. The 35-year-old said she and Emma Stone were \u201cproducing a Miss Piggy movie”. Lawrence also said she and the Easy A actress would also possibly star in the film.<\/p>\n

Emma Stone confirmed she would not play the role of Miss Piggy during her W Magazine interview. \u201cWhy would I play a literal star? She\u2019s the greatest,” Stone said. She said it would be \u201cthe biggest insult to Miss Piggy”.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star? She\u2019s the greatest,” Stone told the outlet.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, of course I\u2019m not playing Miss Piggy. And neither is Jen. We pale in comparison. Are you out of your mind?” Stone added.<\/p>\n
