The Buffalo Bills<\/a> got a shoutout during the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday night, despite no one from the team being there.<\/p>\n

E! News<\/a> reports Hailee Steinfeld<\/a> attended the awards show solo because her husband, Bills quarterback Josh Allen<\/a>, was busy winning an NFL playoff game. When Steinfeld walked on stage to present an award, the announcer gave the pregnant actress an extra congratulations. <\/p>\n

\u201cPlease welcome one of the stars of \u2018Sinners<\/a>,\u2019 Hailee Steinfeld\u2014congrats on that Bills\u2019 win,” an announcer said, \u201cand Golden Globe winner Ayo Edebiri.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen, who married<\/a> Steinfeld last year, led the Bills to a 27-24 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday afternoon in Florida. It was Buffalo\u2019s first road playoff win in more than 30 years.<\/p>\n

But Allen still made time to cheer on his wife, who walked the red carpet in a peach-colored Prada dress, from afar. He shared a photo<\/a> of Steinfeld on Instagram Stories with a drooling emoji and a heart eyes emoji: \u201c\ud83e\udd24\ud83d\ude0d.”<\/p>\n

\u201cSinners\u201d won two awards at the Golden Globes, including Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Original Score. Steinfeld was not nominated in the acting category, despite receiving critical and fan acclaim for her performance opposite Michael B. Jordan.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife is an unbelievable, undeniable rock star in her work, in her life as a person. She\u2019s everything I need in my life,\u201d Allen said<\/a> in October.<\/p>\n

Allen also said the Oscar-nominated actress-singer taught him that \u201cmaybe that I am more than a football player,\u201d but assured Bills Mafia<\/a> that he still wants to win a Super Bowl for Buffalo.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know as a man, in my life, I will be great,\u201d Allen told ESPN\u2019s \u201cMonday Night Football\u201d in October. \u201cBut in doing what I do, and how I\u2019ve done it for my entire career, putting everything I have into my job and winning a Super Bowl, it\u2019ll always be the Great White Buffalo. The one that got away. Whatever you want to call it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allen and Steinfeld, both 29, wed in June in Ventura, California, after more than a year of dating<\/a>. The couple announced in December that Steinfeld is pregnant with their first child.<\/p>\n

Allen, named NFL MVP last season, has led the Bills to the AFC East title five times and the AFC Championship twice. The star QB grew up near Fresno, California, and played college football at the University of Wyoming before being selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He\u2019s also known for his love of golf and appearances in dozens of TV commercials<\/a> and ad campaigns<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Steinfeld is an Academy Award-nominated actress known for roles in movies and TV shows like \u201cHawkeye,\u201d \u201cSinners,\u201d \u201cSpider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,\u201d \u201cPitch Perfect 2\u2033 & \u201c3,\u201d \u201cBumblebee,\u201d \u201cThe Edge of Seventeen,\u201d \u201cCharlie\u2019s Angels\u201d and \u201cTrue Grit.\u201d She\u2019s also a singer with hit songs like \u201cStarving,\u201d \u201cLet Me Go,\u201d \u201cMost Girls,\u201d \u201cCapital Letters,\u201d and \u201cLove Myself.\u201d<\/p>\n
