HICKORY, NC\u00a0– The Lenoir-Rhyne swim teams were on fire on Saturday, as they combined to take down Mars Hill 335-169\u00a0at the Shuford Pool. The men won 167-87 while the woman won 168-82.<\/p>\n

For the men, Levi McRea<\/a>, Christopher Forsey<\/a>, and Wyatt Herger<\/a> combined for six first-place finishes while Ben Swetckie<\/a> collected two second-place finishes in the Men’s 100-Yard Backstroke and Men’s 200-Yard Backstroke.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ella Penny<\/a> led the way for the women’s team, producing three first-place finishes in the women’s 200-Yard Backstroke, 200-Yard Freestyle, and 200-Yard IM. The Women’s team combined for 10 first-place finishes, seven second-place finishes, and seven third-place finishes.<\/p>\n

This is the third straight year\u00a0Lenoir-Rhyne and Wheeling have competed with the Bears swept the Cardinals in both genders in all three meetings.\u00a0<\/p>\n
