During the ET: Live on the Golden Globes Carpet pre-show ahead of the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11, the Wicked: For Good star laughed and said she’d be “open” to boarding the forthcoming Miss Piggy film from Lawrence and Emma Stone<\/a> when asked about it.<\/p>\n On the carpet, Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier gave the multi-hyphenate the floor to clear up a “rumor” that she was set to be part of the project.<\/p>\n “Oh, really? I mean I’m open, hello,” Grande, 32, said.<\/p>\n She added, “No, I’m kidding, I’m kidding, I’m kidding. That’s your casting. We did not, that was the first time she was hearing,” Lawrence joked, before Frazier asked if Grande’s involvement was really a “rumor.”<\/p>\n “I guess it was one of those Twitter rumors. They’re good at those,” Lawrence said. “I mean, if she wants to be in the movie, I would love for her to be in the movie.”<\/p>\n After the ET co-host asked Lawrence to “tell her,” the actress pleaded to the cameras (and, of course, Grande): “Please be in Miss Piggy.”<\/p>\n Frazer Harrison\/WireImage;ABC via Getty<\/p>\n Ariana Grande and Miss Piggy<\/p>\n The project \u2014 which so far both Lawrence and Stone, 37, have discussed in interviews \u2014 was first announced in November when Lawrence shared on Las Culturistas<\/a> that the pair are “producing a Miss Piggy movie<\/a>” with Cole Escola attached as a writer.\u00a0Lawrence also teased that she and Stone may star in it themselves.<\/p>\n “I think so,” the Oscar winner said. “We have to\u2026 It\u2019s f—– up [that we haven\u2019t done a movie together].”<\/p>\n In an interview with\u00a0W Magazine<\/a>\u00a0published on Tuesday, Jan. 6, Stone confirmed that she will not be playing Miss Piggy in the film. “First of all, that is the biggest insult to Miss Piggy I’ve ever heard, and I will not have her name dragged through the mud like that. Why would I play a literal star? She’s the greatest,” Stone told the outlet.<\/p>\n “No, of course I’m not playing Miss Piggy,” she added. “And neither is Jen. We pale in comparison. Are you out of your mind? Miss Piggy is playing Miss Piggy.
