The Government of Canada is committed to supporting these local manufacturers and innovators as they adopt advanced technologies, build production capabilities, and deliver smarter, more sustainable solutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.feddevontario.gc.ca\/eic\/site\/723.nsf\/eng\/home\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FedDev Ontario<\/a>), visited Celplast Metallized Products Limited. While there, he\u00a0announced a combined repayable investment of over $15\u00a0million for eight Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area companies: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abmtool.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A.B.M. Tool &amp; Die Company Ltd<\/a>., <a href=\"http:\/\/www.celplast.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Celplast Metallized Products Limited<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ghpower.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GH Power Inc.<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hitachirail.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hitachi Rail<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/imagohfoods.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Imagoh Foods Ltd.,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.paradigmshift.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paradigm Shift Technologies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/redstonefoodgroup.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Redstone Food Group<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/qubridge.io\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quantum Bridge Technologies<\/a>. The Minister was joined by Maggie Chi, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Don Valley North.<\/p>\n<p>Celplast is receiving over $1.6 million to scale up to meet demand through the adoption of advanced manufacturing equipment. The investment will strengthen the company\u2019s domestic manufacturing capabilities for high-barrier metal coatings and transparent film products, helping it remain competitive and responsive to evolving industry needs.<\/p>\n<p>Through this support, these businesses will enhance their competitiveness and local supply chains.
