\n\tThe Fantastic Four<\/a> starred in, naturally, the fourth \u201cAvengers: Doomsday<\/a>\u201d teaser, which has been released online after it played before \u201cAvatar: Fire and Ash\u201d screenings.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe new teaser starts off serious and somber, much like the past trailers for Captain America, Thor and the X-Men, but then has a humorous moment when the Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) introduces himself to M\u2019Baku (Winston Duke).<\/p>\n

\n\tLetitia Wright\u2019s Shuri, who took on the Black Panther<\/a> mantle after the death of Chadwick Boseman in 2022\u2019s \u201cBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever,\u201d returns with some heavy narration, saying \u201cI\u2019ve lost everyone that matters to me. A king has his duties, to prepare our people for the afterlife. I have mine.\u201d In addition to losing her brother T\u2019Challa in the last movie, Shuri\u2019s mother Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett) also died when Wakanda was attacked by Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and his underwater kingdom Talokan. <\/p>\n

\n\tNamor, in his black, comic-accurate suit, and his cousin Namora (Mabel Cadena) briefly appear in the teaser. After being the villains of \u201cWakanda Forever,\u201d it appears as though the Talokans may join forces with the Wakandans in the fight against Robert Downey Jr.\u2019s Doctor Doom, especially if the fate of the multiverse is at stake. Comic fans also know that the the Fantastic Four\u2019s Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby) is often portrayed as having a romantic history with Namor, which may cause some trouble for her husband Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) if they cross paths.<\/p>\n

\n\tPascal, Kirby and Joseph Quinn, who plays Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, don\u2019t appear in the teaser, but they\u2019ll be part of the \u201cDoomsday\u201d cast when it hits theaters on Dec. 18. Moss-Bachrach\u2019s Thing is the only Fantastic Four member in the teaser, and he introduces himself to M\u2019Baku to close out the trailer<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cKing M\u2019Baku of Wakanda,\u201d he says, apparently confirming that he successfully challenged Shuri for the throne at the end of \u201cWakanda Forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cBen. Yancy Street between Broome and Grand,\u201d Thing replies.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s the first time the Fantastic Four have met a character from the MCU after they made their debut in their alternate 1960s world in last summer\u2019s \u201cFirst Steps.\u201d The end-credits of \u201cThunderbolts\u201d had previously teased the Fantastic Four crossing into the MCU, and now they\u2019ll be able to meet a whole cast of characters in \u201cDoomsday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cThunderbolts\u201d cast is returning for the massive team-up, including Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen and Lewis Pullman. They\u2019ll share the screen with \u201cAvengers\u201d stars Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Tom Hiddleston and Simu Liu.
