RB Leipzig have signed 19-year-old Nigerian winger Suleman Sani on a contract until June 2031.<\/p>\n

The teenager joins\u00a0Leipzig<\/a> from Slovakian top-flight outfit AS Tren\u010din, for whom he registered 16 goals and seven assists in 59 competitive appearances.<\/p>\n

Sani, who started his career at Nigerian side Akwa United and represented his country at the FIFA U-20 World Cup last October, is Leipzig\u2019s first signing of the January transfer window<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn Suleman Sani, we\u2019ve signed a highly talented young winger,\u201d said Marcel Sch\u00e4fer, Leipzig\u2019s managing director for sport. \u201cHe has an exciting profile and all the attributes needed to take the next steps in his development at RB Leipzig.<\/p>\n

\u201cBringing Suleman in now is a move made with the summer in mind, as the opportunity arose to secure him on a permanent deal. We\u2019ll give him the time he needs to settle in the Bundesliga and are very much looking forward to our time together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sani added: \u201cMoving to RB Leipzig is a big step for me, and something I\u2019m extremely proud of. I\u2019m particularly impressed by how the club develops young players, puts their faith in them and supports them.<\/p>\n
