\n\tDon\u2019t Be Dumb<\/a> is the title of A$AP Rocky\u2019s<\/a> fourth studio album arriving Friday (Jan. 16), but it\u2019s also a phrase he may have been uttering to Reddit moderators after pulling the plug on his AMA session<\/a> on Monday (Jan. 12).<\/p>\n

\n\tRocky was slated to host an AMA, but ended up bailing on the Q&A thread as he appeared to take issue with moderators. \u201cYALL MODS ARE CLOWNS , DONTBEDUMB JAN 16,\u201d he wrote to the r\/asaprocky subreddit<\/a> with the title \u201cWAS GON DO AMA , F-K IT NOW!\u201d before signing off.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile fans were disappointed, they seemed to agree with Rocky\u2019s decision. \u201cCant even be mad fair enough,\u201d one person wrote. Another added, \u201cReddit mods being reddit mods.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOne of the subreddit\u2019s mods admitted they made a mistake in trying to give him access. \u201cI\u2019m sorry Mr Rocky. We sent you a mod invite so this doesn\u2019t happen again. S\u2013t got caught in the reddit spam filter even tho we approved your account,\u201d the moderator wrote<\/a>. \u201cEveryone feel free to roast us in the comments, we goofed up, nobody is gonna get banned.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIt remains to be seen if Rocky will give it another shot. Billboard has reached out to the mods for comment.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Harlem rapper continued the Don\u2019t Be Dumb rollout on Monday with the arrival of his \u201cHelicopter$\u201d single. He made sure to repeat multiple times that the accompanying visual to the track <\/a>was not AI-generated. <\/a>\u201cTHIS VIDEO IS NOT Ai GENERATED! THIS VIDEO IS NOT Ai GENERATED! JUST GENERATIONAL,\u201d he wrote to X.<\/p>\n

\n\tRocky kicked off the DBD rollout with \u201cPunk Rocky\u201d<\/a> earlier in January, and the anticipated album is set to arrive on Friday.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Mob frontman is also slated to serve as the next installment of Amazon Music\u2019s Songline<\/a> series with an episode premiering on Yams Day (Jan. 18), which honors the late A$AP Mob cofounder who passed away in 2015.<\/p>\n
