{"id":237881,"date":"2026-01-14T17:33:10","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T17:33:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/237881\/"},"modified":"2026-01-14T17:33:10","modified_gmt":"2026-01-14T17:33:10","slug":"actor-kiefer-sutherland-arrested-over-alleged-assault-of-ride-share-driver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/237881\/","title":{"rendered":"Actor Kiefer Sutherland arrested over alleged assault of ride-share driver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Actor Kiefer Sutherland has been arrested after allegedly assaulting and threatening a ride-share driver in Hollywood, police have said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said Sutherland &#8220;entered a ride-share vehicle, physically assaulted the driver (the victim), and made criminal threats&#8221; in an incident at 00:15 PST (08:15 GMT) on Monday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">The victim was not injured in the incident, the LAPD added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"sc-9a00e533-0 eZyhnA\">Sutherland, 59, was released after paying a bond of $50,000 (\u00a337,000). He is due to appear in court on 2 February.
