\u201c[During] COVID, everyone lost hope. They were the hope and now after [completing the] military, they’re finally back and it’s going to be amazing,\u201d said Vann, who along with his mother, Sokvin, founded the BTS Army Toronto fan club.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sokvin said BTS helped her overcome the loss of her brother and in accepting her Asian heritage.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was actually just telling my son, growing up, it wasn’t cool to be Asian. I had an identity crisis,\u201d she said. \u201cIt’s just a different kind of perspective when you actually feel like you can belong. So [the band] just says [to] be yourself. That’s the message.\u201d<\/p>\n

When do tickets go on sale?<\/p>\n

Fans hoping to snag tickets can sign up for the presale by 6 p.m. EST on Jan. 18 to get early access to advanced tickets on Jan. 22.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tickets for the general public will go on sale Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. EST.<\/p>\n

Vann said the duo will be intensely focused on different computers in different rooms trying to get their own tickets.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If they get a hold of any seats, the pair will likely \u201cbe on the floor screaming, crying, throwing up,\u201d said Sokvin.<\/p>\n
