Lucasfilm appears to be hinting at a new direction for Kylo Ren following the cancellation of Hunt for Ben Solo. The final issue of Marvel’s Legacy of Vader comic series ends with a direct tease that points toward another project centered on the character. The ending suggests that the Star Wars timeline is not yet complete.

New Kylo Ren project hinted in the final issue of Legacy of Vader

Although Lucasfilm previously canceled Ben Solo’s story on film, new material suggests that Kylo Ren’s arc may not be complete. The final installment of Marvel’s comic series Legacy of Vader ends with a clear tease suggesting that the character’s journey is not yet complete.

The series, written by Charles Soule with art by Luke Ross, is set between The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker and follows Kylo Ren during his time as Supreme Leader. The series explores his efforts to suppress his past as Ben Solo while attempting to fully embrace the dark side. Rather than resolving that conflict, the final issue leaves key elements of Kylo’s arc unresolved.

In a climactic sequence set within Darth Vader’s fortress on Mustafar, Kylo experiences a powerful Force vision that forces him to confront his unresolved inner conflict. The scene emphasizes his inability to fully sever ties with his past. The issue closes with Kylo violently expelled from Vader’s hidden vault, leaving his fate deliberately ambiguous (via ScreenRant)

The final page further supports the ambiguity with a closing message that reads, “The reign ends. The fall begins. Kylo Ren… will return.” The wording strongly implies continuation beyond the current series rather than a proper conclusion.

Several narrative threads remain open at the end of Legacy of Vader, including the status of the Knights of Ren. During this period in the timeline, the group is shown to be led by Tava Ren, with no explanation provided for how Kylo later regains control before to the events of The Rise of Skywalker.

However, as of now, no follow-up project has been formally announced.

Lucasfilm appears to be hinting at a new direction for Kylo Ren following the cancellation of Hunt for…

[27
146,3838,85,46,129189,397,6377
post-239656","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-movies","tag-entertainment","tag-entertainment-news","tag-il","tag-israel","tag-kylo-ren","tag-movies","tag-star-wars
["GET
