Just ask Ben Affleck, dad to three with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Luckily, Affleck has some famous friends to help him out. He recently revealed that he brought Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, to visit the set of Matt Damon\u2019s new movie, The Odyssey, directed by Christopher Nolan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cYou know, it\u2019s one of those things where my kids never want to come to the set when I\u2019m working,\u201d The Rip star said in a recent appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tRYTPeIHrA4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>. \u201c[I\u2019m] like, \u2018Hey guys, we\u2019re doing a thing on the set.\u2019 And they\u2019re like, \u2018No, I got school,\u2019\u201d he said with a laugh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">More from SheKnows<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Ben Affleck and Matt Damon at Netflix's &quot;The Rip&quot; New York Premiere held at Alice Tully Hall on January 13, 2026 in New York, New York. My middle child\u2019s really interested in actually reading the\u00a0Iliad\u00a0and\u00a0The\u00a0Odyssey,\u00a0and we went there, and it was really great. I mean, it was just incredible,\u201d Affleck went on. \u201cThis is the way that Hollywood made movies, and they were great, epic, in-camera, David Lean movies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Affleck also shared how Nolan is serious and \u201cbelieves the set is a place to work,\u201d although he did allow Affleck and his kids to come. \u201cI was really, honestly grateful that he let me come by and visit,\u201d Affleck said. \u201cMy kids really liked it. And so it was kind of cool. It was really, really nice. In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/celebrity\/articles\/ben-affleck-reveals-kids-takes-204614738.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Access Hollywood;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Access Hollywood<\/a> in October, he shared, \u201cI could not be more proud of my children. I can\u2019t even tell you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">He also praised his co-parenting relationship with Garner. \u201cI\u2019m very lucky that I got a great partner, and we got great kids, and it\u2019s the joy of my life,\u201d he went on. \u201cI\u2019m just very, very lucky, and it makes me happy every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">As they get older, though, his kids are starting to realize just how cool their dad is. At least, Samuel is. In April, Affleck <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/ben-affleck-receives-high-praise-211745107.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:told E! News;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">told E!
