Seth Rogen took home the award for Best Actor in a TV Series Musical or Comedy at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday for his role in The Studio. It marked his first win at the awards show, but his second nomination. He was first nominated in 2023 for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Limited Series\/Motion Picture. That nod was for his role in the controversial series Pam & Tommy<\/a>, on which he also served as a producer.<\/p>\n

Pamela Anderson, the real-life subject of the show, attended the 2025 Golden Globes as a nominee herself for The Last Showgirl, but was unsettled by Rogen being there, too. \u201cHe was in the pit at the Golden Globes, so we were close,\u201d Anderson told Andy Cohen on SiriusXM <\/a>this week. \u201cI just left like, I\u2019m not chopped liver over here. I felt a little bit weird about it \u2026 It just felt a little yucky.\u201d<\/p>\n

While they didn\u2019t share any direct interactions, Anderson says she imagined confronting him over his participation in Pam & Tommy. \u201cI didn\u2019t make a beeline for him, but in my mind I did,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd really told him how I felt.\u201d<\/p>\n

The series \u2014 which premiered in 2022 and is based on true events detailed in the article Pam and Tommy: The Untold Story of the World\u2019s Most Infamous Sex Tape<\/a>, published by Rolling Stone in 2014 \u2014 followed the unauthorized sale of Anderson and Tommy Lee\u2019s sex tape by Rand Gauthier, a disgruntled electrician hired to renovate their home. That\u2019s the role Rogen played. \u201cHe did that [show] without talking to me,\u201d Anderson said. \u201cHow can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? I\u2019m a living, breathing human being over here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still struggling to feel like she belongs at the Golden Globes, despite her recent films, Anderson decided to leave the ceremony after they presented her category. Anderson continued, \u201cI still struggle to feel like I belong somewhere like the Golden Globes.\u201d She is still waiting for Rogen to offer some sort of apology for taking part in Pam & Tommy. \u201cEventually, hopefully, maybe he\u2019ll reach out to me and apologize,\u201d she said. \u201cNot that that matters. When you are a public person, they say you have no right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets or your tragedies in your life shouldn\u2019t be fair game for a TV series.\u201d<\/p>\n

Commenting on the series in 2023, Anderson told Rolling Stone, <\/a>\u201cIt really gives me nightmares. I didn\u2019t sleep last night at all. I have no desire to watch it. Not going to watch it. Never watched the tape; I\u2019m not going to watch this. Who knows how they\u2019re even going to portray it? Nobody knows what we were going through at the time. They should have had to have my permission.\u201d<\/p>\n
