The route of the Olympic Flame from Cremona to Brescia<\/p>\n
The convoy arrived in Brescia at the end of a route that took place entirely in the eastern provinces of Lombardia.\u00a0\u200b\u200bThe first relay took place in Cremona: the torchbearers, including Olympic silver medallist Giacomo Gentili, also carried the Flame under the Torrazzo, the city’s historic icon.\u00a0\u200b\u200bThere was also great enthusiasm in the next section of Crema, a city that welcomed the torchbearers with joy.\u00a0\u200b\u200bThe torch then headed towards Lake Iseo, with a relay that symbolically united the neighbouring municipalities of Sarnico (province of Bergamo) and Paratico (province of Brescia).\u00a0\u200b\u200bThe sacred fire of Olympia also touched the municipality of Iseo and was carried by the torchbearers by bicycle along the “La strada nella roccia” cycle path in Castro, an itinerary chosen to enhance one of Italy’s many enchanting landscapes.\u00a0\u200b\u200bPreviously, a relay was also held in Calcinate, inside the Cavagna Group factory, a company that has actively contributed to the creation and development of Essential torches.<\/p>\n
