On Friday, Meghan Markle jumped on the trend of sharing pictures from 2016, posting an image of herself with Prince Harry from ten years ago. In the photo, she and Harry are standing in water in casual clothing, sharing a sweet embrace. Behind them is a gorgeous marshland background.<\/p>\n

She paired the image with a current video she attributed to their daughter, Lilibet. The black-and-white clip shows the couple dancing together on a lawn and sharing a kiss as they sway. In the caption, the Duchess of Sussex wrote, \u201cWhen 2026 feels just like 2016\u2026.you had to be there. \ud83c\udfa5 cred: our daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meghan and Harry were married in 2018, two years after the romantic photo was taken. They met in July 2016, so the image must have been from early in their relationship.<\/p>\n
In November 2025, Meghan spoked with Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>, sharing how Harry has been supportive<\/a> of her over he years as they both went through changes.<\/p>\n \u201cHe loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn\u2019t,\u201d she said. \u201cNo one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he\u2019s always going to make sure that he has my back.\u201d<\/p>\n She shared that his \u201cchildlike wonder and playfulness\u201d first attracted her, adding, \u201cI was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me.
