They became <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalsucks.net\/2025\/06\/23\/turnstile-once-again-teams-up-with-taco-bell-to-be-the-soundtrack-of-bubble-guts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Taco Bell ambassadors<\/a>. They turned NPR\u2019s Tiny Desk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.metalsucks.net\/2025\/09\/10\/turnstile-took-the-mosh-pit-to-nprs-tiny-desk-concert-series\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">into a mosh pit<\/a>. Their music is used to sell shit now. They\u2019ve officially made it.<\/p>\n<p>One other way you know they\u2019ve reached a wider audience is when artists you wouldn\u2019t expect to show appreciation for a band\u2019s work take the time to learn the music and put their own spin on it. To that end, multi-platinum singer\/songwriter Michelle Branch, whose body of work is found more in the pop and country aisle than the rock or metal section of a record store, posted a video of herself on Instagram performing \u201cNever Enough\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the video below, she takes the song and puts her own spin on it, making it more sad and subdued than the original. She utilizes nothing more than her voice and piano to get her version across, but it\u2019s powerfully evocative.<\/p>\n<p>If a studio version of this cover doesn\u2019t end up being used in a trailer for some movie in the future, I would be shocked. Either way, this is good for Turnstile and heavy music as a whole, as we\u2019re sure to see some normies seeking out Turnstile to hear the original version.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Over the last few years, hardcore outfit Turnstile\u2018s gotten a lot of recognition by non-hardcore\/metal\/normies.
