Shane Mosley did his best to take Floyd Mayweather<\/a>‘s head off in 2010, but even with that level of animosity he knows how terrific he was. <\/p>\n

Nowadays, Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) prefers to be called TBE \u2014 The Best Ever. Mosley isn\u2019t entirely sure he agrees with that, but finding someone in history who could match his skills is a difficult task. <\/p>\n

Terence Crawford<\/a> has always floated around the topic of conversation.
It wasn\u2019t until his win over Canelo Alvarez<\/a> this past weekend that Mosley was willing to say that Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) isn\u2019t simply on Mayweather\u2019s level \u2014 he\u2019s a notch above it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Crawford is better,\u201d Mosley told Fight Hub TV. \u201cI would say Crawford is a better all-around fighter.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Crawford showed up at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with some newfound muscle, Mosley believed he couldn’t win. He\u2019s two months shy of three full years older than Alvarez, and for the last few years, has fought two to three weight divisions below him. <\/p>\n

None of that mattered as he won a close but clear decision. <\/p>\n

Mayweather also bagged a win over Alvarez 12 years ago. With Crawford becoming a three-division undisputed champion, pundits and fans are playing fantasy matchmaker.<\/p>\n

So who would win? Mayweather, when he was an active fighter, loved to remind people of his work, often saying that 50 have tried and 50 have failed. According to Mosley, if Crawford were Mayweather\u2019s 51st opponent, he would\u2019ve got the job done. <\/p>\n

\u201cMayweather is really good.
