The hullabaloo kicked off on social media when a user by the name of Yinka Animashaun shared an alleged screen recording of an email thread between herself and Walliser.<\/p>\n
In the 2019 email exchange, Animashaun is seen inquiring about the use of Walliser\u2019s Glambot for her wedding, prompting the photographer to question if it\u2019s in her \u201cprice range\u201d because the camera system is \u201cnot cheap\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n
After Animashaun confirmed she could foot the bill, Walliser *allegedly* got spicy. <\/p>\n
\u201cI don\u2019t see how you could be since I didn\u2019t say how much it was and it could be between $10,000 to $1,000,000,\u201d Walliser wrote.\u00a0All that for a terrifyingly fast machine that might make you look like a fool?<\/p>\n
After a back-and-forth over whether Animashaun could realistically afford the Glambot, Walliser finally confirmed the price of $300,000, prompting another terse reply.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you wanted to know how much it cost you just needed to ask, you don\u2019t need to pretend you\u2019re going to book it,\u201d he replied.<\/p>\n
Social media users didn\u2019t take kindly to the interaction, with some labelling Walliser\u2019s tone as \u201crude\u201d or saying Animashaun was \u201cowed an apology\u201d. <\/p>\n
\u201cDamn why is good customer service becoming a lost art,\u201d another user responded, while a fourth said \u201cassuming someone\u2019s ability to pay damages his reputation\u201d. <\/p>\n

Gasoline was poured on the fire when another X user shared a similar interaction they had with Walliser when also inquiring about a wedding. \u201cThere\u2019s a reason the Glambot is only at the Oscars, the Grammys and the Golden Globes,\u201d Walliser allegedly replied, followed by a bunch of money bag emojis. <\/p>\n
As for why this is all coming to light now, Animashaun explained that she had seen Walliser\u2019s J-Lo response video \u201ccirculating and wanted to remind [people]\u2026 of his treatment toward me\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cI tweeted about it back when it happened and several times since! I will continue to mention it until I receive an apology,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n
Adding even more lore, Animashaun said she discussed using the Glambot with her wedding planner, who said she would consult with Walliser to lower the eye-watering price before she saw the emails. <\/p>\n
