Colleen Hoover is not too fond of Justin Baldoni, according to Blake Lively.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, December 20, text messages between Lively, 38, and her superstar friend Taylor Swift about the It Ends With Us drama<\/a> were unsealed. In one text, sent on May 19, 2024 \u2014 about three months before the film was officially released \u2014 Lively insisted Hoover, 46, was not Baldoni\u2019s ally.<\/p>\n

\u201cBtw I have SO much to tell you,\u201d Lively wrote in a message to an undisclosed person, per court documents<\/a> obtained by the National Enquirer. \u201cThe author Colleen reached out to me because Justin is on an internal smear campaign trying to get his edit through. She was horrified. And reached out on her own to talk to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTurns out he f**king lied, she\u2019s not Bahai,\u201d Lively continued in her message, referring to Baldoni\u2019s faith. \u201cNever has been. She\u2019s not friends with him at all. She actually hates him. She was his safety net all along.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMeanwhile he shut her out and wouldn\u2019t include her in anything and told her she had no voice or value yet paraded her around in front of cameras for goodwill and told us all that all his decision [sic] he got pushback on were her ideas,\u201d the Gossip Girl alum added.<\/p>\n

Hoover has shown support for Lively amid her bitter feud with Baldoni, 41. In December 2024, after Lively filed her initial complaint against the Jane the Virgin actor \u2014 alleging he sexually harassed her on set \u2014 the author posted an Instagram Story gushing over the A Simple Favor star and linking to the bombshell New York Times article.<\/p>\n

\u201c@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met,\u201d Hoover wrote over a photo of her and Lively hugging, according to People<\/a>. \u201cThank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in a November 2025\u00a0 interview with Elle,<\/a> Hoover admitted that the whole situation \u201cfeels like a circus.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen there are real people involved, with real feelings and emotions. This actually truly has impacted some of the actors\u2019 careers in huge ways. And I just find it all around sad,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cI\u2019m just trying to stay removed from the negativity. I have my own story I could tell \u2026 but I don\u2019t want to bring attention to it, and I don\u2019t want to have to put someone else down to lift myself up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019d rather just ignore it and let people think and say what they\u2019re going to say,\u201d she noted. \u201cI feel like it\u2019s so big at this point that there\u2019s nothing anyone can say to change whatever opinion people have of it, even though no one has the actual truth. Not even me.\u201d<\/p>\n
