{"id":252711,"date":"2026-01-23T01:07:06","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T01:07:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/252711\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T01:07:06","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T01:07:06","slug":"voice-ai-engine-and-openai-partner-livekit-hits-1b-valuation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/252711\/","title":{"rendered":"Voice AI engine and OpenAI partner LiveKit hits $1B valuation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LiveKit, a developer of infrastructure software for real-time AI voice and video applications, has <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.livekit.io\/livekit-series-c\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a> the raise of $100 million in funding at a $1 billion valuation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The round, which comes 10 months after LiveKit\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/techcrunch.com\/2025\/04\/10\/livekits-tools-help-power-real-time-communications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">previous fundraise<\/a>, was led by Index Ventures with participation from existing investors, including Altimeter Capital Management, Hanabi Capital, and Redpoint Ventures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LiveKit powers OpenAI\u2019s ChatGPT voice mode.
