At the start of this week, X-Men Monday eXclusively revealed<\/a> artist Tiago Palma\u2019s concept art and unfinished pages from the upcoming X-Men United #1<\/a>, alongside an interview with series writer Eve L. Ewing. Well, almost one week later, at least two pages are a little more finished, and we\u2019re going to eXclusively reveal those, too!<\/p>\n

First up, Graymatter Lane founder Emma Frost, pouring herself a cup of tea to go with her croissant \u2014 now in full color!<\/p>\n

Then, we have an all-new two-page spread featuring a mix of A-list mutants, such as Storm and Gambit, fan favorites like Multiple Man and Vulcan, and Random! (This is when I find out Random has a legion of die-hard fans, isn\u2019t it? Wait\u2026 I just remembered I own two Random action figures\u2026 am I a die-hard Random fan?!?)<\/p>\n

These doors to Graymatter Lane are giving off real Krakoan gate vibes \u2014 especially Shark-Girl\u2019s!<\/p>\n

Either way, this spread seems to reflect X-Men United\u2019s promise of bringing together mutants from different eras<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving such a huge cast of characters is the best part and the hardest part,\u201d Ewing told X-Men Monday. \u201cEveryone has their hardcore faves, and someone will always be bummed if their favorite character doesn\u2019t make an appearance, but at the same time, it\u2019s hard to tell great stories where folks get room to breathe once your cast gets too big. So I hope to hit a nice balance of big stars, characters we maybe haven\u2019t seen for a while, and newer kids, both from Exceptional\u00a0and from\u00a0Gail Simone<\/a>\u2018s run on\u00a0Uncanny X-Men.\u201d<\/p>\n
